U8s v Pembroke

The sun was shining this morning for our first game after the winter break as we entertained Pembroke.
Both teams had big squads so we played 9 a side and it did feel a bit congested at times. The Saints started strongly in the first period before being pegged back in the second. The third was pretty even and the Saints had done enough to edge the game.

Final score: Saints 13 - 11 Pembroke.

I was delighted for the team to put in a strong performance today considering the key players we were missing💪🏉
