Saints 15 - 35 Pembroke

A tough start to the new year with a very good Pembroke team travelling up to play on a beautiful winter morning. We got off to a bad start Pembroke catching the ball off the kick off and running a try in with out being touched. We picked ourselves up and made a game of it after that, getting stuck in at the breakdown and making Pembroke work for every ball. Not many teams like it when you go at them and it wasn’t any different for Pembroke, they started to get a little niggly because we weren’t taking a backwards step.

Every player stepped up today which was great to see.
A big thank you to Taff for taking the warm up and our U11 boys that played up. Well played everyone.
