U10’s vs Milford

Fast out of the gates Milford left the Saints feeling shell shocked in the first half with try after try. Quickest to the breakdown meant Milford could secure the ball and then get it out to their speedy No.11 who ran around the Saints defence over the whitewash. Milford leading 5 - 2 at half time. Joey with both tries for St.Davids in the half.

A resurgence from The Saints kept Milford pegged back, securing the ball at the breakdown with Geraint and Morlo winning some key turnovers for the Saints. Raffy unlucky to have his try in the corner disallowed. Big hits going in from both sides, there’ll be some sore bodies tonight. Sidestepping his way from deep, Joey crossed the line 4 times in this half.

The Saints showing good attacking patterns and defence in phases, if we can improve on the consistency then the results will swing in our favour. Milford are often a bogey team for us but the Saints showed good character battling to the end.
