U9s Festival

The end of season festival went ahead today and we just beat the weather before the rain came down.

I don’t know the scores and I hope no scores were kept because today should be about playing for fun, in the games I saw there were big tackles good runs and some excellent tries. All support was positive and everyone was respectful of the referees decisions, it’s become a great way to end the season.

A big thank you to everyone involved from players, parents, coaches and referees who all do a great job but without Kieron who sent endless messages to the other clubs this festival wouldn’t go ahead. We are really lucky to have some of the best parents about always respectful of what’s going on, our kids don’t moan or back chat we should be really proud of the way we’re bringing our children up.

There’s a couple of touring games left for some teams but I hope everyone enjoys the summer and comes back to rugby in September rearing to go.
