Saints U12s 17 vs 26 Crymych

A tough game against a big Crymych team this morning saw the Saints put in a good performance with good tackling and strong running from the whole team. Unlike last week we started well with Billy carrying the ball hard and great support from Oscar to score under the posts, Jack knocked the conversion over. The contest at the ruck was hard fought, our tackling was good and we had some really good counter rucking. With Crymych being such a big side our tackling had to be good and Joe put a good shift playing up after the U11s game, our line speed was good. We lost Harvey early in the second half to a nasty gash on the leg (a big thank you to Stu, Dan and Tom for patching him up - he’s been to A&E had some iodine, steri strips and a week of antibiotics for his trouble). Billy got our second try and Oscar scored his second at the death. A bit of complaining about the ref (Billy) there are always decisions we won’t be happy with but please don’t back-chat the ref boys!!!
