U11s vs Haverfordwest

Haverfordwest kindly lent us 2 quality U11s who had just played a whole game for their U12s. This made for a fair game of rugby and allowed us to develop our up and coming players. It was reffereed in manner to keep the ball alive which led to some good open play. Phil used his scruffy handwriting in Delydd’s immaculate book and tells me it was a 7-9 victory for the Saints. Great game today. I lost track of score but had it down as our win!

Haverfordwest did have a slightly weaker team for parts of the match, but we also had players missing - so all equal..!! All the players did brilliant and worked really hard all through the game. They earned some extra screen time I’d say! Our running play was great and, at times, was impossible for Haverfordwest to defend against. We also did enough in the physical battle.

Player of the week was Teilo who impressed with some moments of real quality ⭐️
Most improvement this week was Cory. He was captain today and led from the front and kept going for full game. As captain he also had some good debrief comments for his team mates.
Special mention to the boys who had already played for the U12’s before our game💪🏻!! Also to Ollie who turned up and tried his best to play despite not feeling well.
